Just a suggestion. In Audacity’s Help sections online, to better understand the concepts explained, I think it would be really useful to put a real audio clip under each Figure (eg. Amplify, Normalize.) If we could hear each actual clip, (eg. before Normalize is applied, and after it is applied), it would be extra helpful. I understand the concepts but settings can be fine tuned in many ways. Me too! I have the Platinum version of Cakewalk that Bandlab is now giving away for free – but when it comes time to record a project, I still keep using Audacity. I wish someone help me to set up my audacity and let the world listen my voice! I am still unable to fix it. Still having issues with latency on audacity tried everything!no matter what I do just doesn’t work!I’m recording through an audio interface straight to imac. We’d like to do that – but we are very low on manpower on this volunteer open=source project.
