I just finished watching Friday night lights for the first time. I’ve been watched it for about 2 weeks. It’s definitely a great show and I wish I would have watched it when it was on TV the first time. Riggins and Matt aka #7 were my favorite characters and I’m glad they were in all of the seasons. The last few moments of the series when Tyra and Riggins are sitting together overlooking his property. So bittersweet. The final scene that is an allusion to the first episode, but this time it’s “Texas forever” with Tim and his brother, rather than Tim and Jason. I loved how that subtle nod brought everything full circle for Tim and you knew he was going to be OK. Also when Tyra finally gets her college essay right and reads it out loud. It gives me chills every time. I live 2 minutes from the Panther Fieldhouse. It’s abandoned now, and believe it should be brought back to life for FNL screenings every Friday night. Everything everything about this show I love. I even modeled my coaching after this show. Clear eyes full hearts can’t lose. Cynthia Dula last episode was so heart breaking I cried throughout the whole episode.
