So sorry for your loss. What an absolutely amazing woman! I hope the friend did well.. She was not only a brave woman but also the best mother in law I could have asked for. When I first came to Australia and knew no one, she took me under her wing. She would include me in almost everything she did and made sure I didn’t feel lonely. She… See More. What an amazing woman! And she clearly raised an amazing son . I remember this story (I’m Australian)! Thank you for sharing and I’m sorry to hear of her passing . She was awesome. But note to self, NEVER camp in Australia.. Kimberly Blake. I remember this on the news and thinking ‘that’s the sort of mum I want to be, she never gave up.’ I almost lost my son to crippling depression 18 months ago. One night driving back from the hospital, in tears for the millionth time, I thought about he… See More

She reminds me so much of my own grandmother, whose favorite subject was herself . “But I know a lot of people, including Stephanie, would rather hear about Stephanie.” No shade, Brandon, but yes, I, I am a lot of people.. Can we join the virtual event and purchase a book, from New Zealand?? Tanqueray (Stephanie) is one hell of a strong woman, with an incredible story – she is also an amazing story teller. Way to go Brandon for letting her speak her peace . And the site has crashed! Lol. It’s going to be a huge event bt!!!. Molly Johnson Didn’t take long to crash!. I work in a bookstore. Had a customer come in last night asking about the book; we fangirled over our love of Stephanie . Really hoping there is a possibility this will be made available for those of us outside of the United States!!

Josephine Echon. Barbara Lynch. My nan also got a bravery award. Beryl House…saved her neighbour from domestic violence, axe to the face.. When I read about your mum wrestling a crocodile, it reminds me of da days when there used to be giant lions here in Uganda( the Pearl of Africa)in a district called Masindi just near Lake Albert. Lions from game reserves used to invade villages and fe… See More. In every story I read here there’s a woman behind!! I will always love and respect you women (mothers) Thank you for everything you do for us. As an Australian, I remember hearing about this at the time! Our crocs are not like your alligators.. OK, I’ll be that person: Why are so many saying it was a “mum” reaction? A man doing something heroic and incredibly brave as she did would never be described as having his “dad instincts” kick in. She didn’t save a child either and they were all adult… See More

Bless this woman. Reading her stories has made my recovery from surgery much more entertaining. Thank you for sharing . Even if the 33 episodes of her story got over…I keep checking this amazing page to see if Brandon is again saying anything about Stephanie..Her smile is so infectious . Would love to see a video of her and hear her voice. I really wish the podcast happens! Thanks Brandon! And for wearing shorts that cold winter day. Truly the best story you wrote. I can read for days , months, years about Stephanie and her life. Like a movie and you interpret it as if we are watching.. thank you!. I want a whole book dedicated to her story please . She looks so much better than she did at the start of this shoot. She looked collapsed in all the photos, now she has some energy and joy behind her eyes…love that you could help change her life, Brandon.

So happy to see she still has her sense of humor!. Ashley Jones. Mo Taderera. Stephanie you are a true queen- and I hope you know how much you are admired for every bit of who you are.. Roseanne Palumbo. Look at her smile these days. . Rachael Ramkissoon. Susan McCabe. Yaaasss!!! The Queen has given her review! Nuff said. . It is so good to see her smile! and I am sure she is reading the book….life is small and we all have our different stories to tell…and so many of us have more in common than even we would want to admit!. She captivated me last year, and your 32+ part series only sealed the deal. My heart goes out to Stephanie- you matter. We care. You are loved and appreciated.. When we were first introduced to Stephanie, she didnt really smile in her early photos…. now, every photo halfway through her story telling she is beaming from ear to ear. Hi Stephanie if you are reading this!!!!!!!
