J.K. Rowling once said: “My series has a lot to do with death. They start with the death of Harry’s parents. Voldemort has an obsession about tame death and immortality ambitions at all costs. “I understand why Voldemort wants to conquer death. Because we all fear it.”
Out of that vague fear, Rowling allowed good human attributes to flourish. Throughout the series are the touching motherly love of Harry’s mother for her son, the strong friendship between the Harry – Ron – Hermione trio, the brotherhood of the Fred-George twins and the unconditional love that Mr. Snape has for the dead friend The story is also a lesson in perseverance, inquisitiveness and courage. Those reasons make Harry Potter live forever in the hearts of readers.
