Disrespectful and disgraceful to have a replacement petition while our dear Alex Trebeck has not even been laid to rest.. Levar Burton would be a great choice, I grew up with him on Reading Rainbow. Very debonair. I think he would do a great job. May Alex Rest In Peace.. LeVar would do a great job. Of course, the shows producers would need to make him an offer and he would need to accept the offer before he could become the next host of Jeopardy but he’s very intelligent and he connects well with an audience. I have fond memories of watching Reading Rainbow as a kid and it always felt almost like LeVar was talking directly to each and every child who was watching the show. Alex Trebek is not replaceable by LeVar Burton or anyone but LeVar would do a more than respectable job following him.. Mr. Burton is articulate, talented, respectable, and so many other great thingshe would make an amazing host for Jeopardy.
LeVar Burton would be a fantastic choice. My only concern is that he’s already kind of old (63), compared to Ken Jennings (46) and Brad Rutter (42), so they may not get the longevity out of him that they’d get out of the others. But any of these three would be amazing choices. All three are men with class. Whatever they do, don’t give it to some run of the mill Hollywood star.. I truly believe Alex would be pleased if Ken Jennings was chosen to be the next Jeopardy host.. I think others are better suited for that job.. I read Alex hoped it would be Ken Jennings.. honor Alexs wish. I don’t think the slot ” should even be decided right now. Let it rest for a bit. Just out of courtesy for this man who believed in facts and the truth. What a wonderful teacher he was. Don’t try to lie if you watched jeopardy you should know this
No one can replace Alex, of course, but I think Levar Burton would do a great job.. I hope its not Ken Jennings. I can’t stand him.. Personally, I think that the Producers have already made their decision, by bringing Ken Jennings On Board” in various capacities on Jeopardy, both on screen and off.. I don’t know why, it may be the grey hair and mustache but he looks like a black Alex Trebek. I really see it, he could do it!. Alex always conducted himself as a dignified, well-spoken host. LaVar has those qualities. I LOVED Reading Rainbow and can still hear Levar’s voice in my head.. Terrell A Wilkerson. As long as it is not a comedian like Drew Carey!. No thank you. Neil Degrass Tyson is better suited than him.But to me Ken Jennings would be perfect.
