Raise corporate taxes, so corporations raise consumer prices!. Corporations are coming out in favor of raising taxes. The current proposal is still less than they were paying before the Trump corporate tax cut.. Do you really think corporations will absorb additional taxes? Of course not. They will eliminate jobs and increase prices and rates. Then guess who pays?. You really think corporations are going to foot the Bill? They’ll do one of two things. 1, move somewhere else and take all the jobs with them, or 2, raise the price of their goods and services, which the consumer (us) will end up paying. I already pay $3 for a gallon of gas. I don’t want to be paying $10 for a gallon of milk, or $15 for a value meal at McDonald’s.. Higher taxes do not always equal higher revenues – in a global economy where companies can relocate their production to China or profits to offshore tax havens. I know I swear a lot accent mug

I understand giant corporations need to for sure pay their fair share but I hope small businesses do not see increase taxes after the difficulty of a pandemic. In the Obama years, I couldn’t find a job. After Trump tax cuts, I played employers against one another. Higher taxes on corporations sends jobs overseas and ruins our economy.. Sounds great! Let’s do it. I’m sure those companies won’t raise their base prices in order to counter that extra expense.. My best friends I love you. Yesss, especially for clean drinking water. Many tribes are fighting against pipelines. I’m excited about this. Thank you President for all your efforts . especially when you hear the top CEOs saying they do not think they are taxed enough.. It will only work if you also close the loopholes. Actually, closing the loopholes might negate the need to increase rates.. Stop sending billions to other countries. We need to take care of our own!
