Before making The Witch’s Wife, producers Douglas Wick and Kuky had the intention of adapting the popular 1960s comedy, Bewitch into a love comedy film. While developing the idea, they accidentally met Nicole and she showed great interest in the project. She wishes to take on the female lead role in a movie about a romantic story of an “actor” couple and this “witch” girl. Fortunately, Nicole, in addition to beauty, has a nose quite similar to Elizabeth Montgomery, the actress in the role of Samantha, a beautiful and lovely witch. Nora Ephron has been nominated to write the screenplay. Nora is required to ensure a romantic and witty atmosphere like the original movie, and to have a sense of age in the film. Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell in the movie.
Director Nora Ephron asked Spisak, the designer of Bewitched, to create two lovely A-houses, surrounded by white fences and small bushes. The decorations in the house are very cute like the hostess herself. The house is full of crystal and glass furniture and souvenirs. In addition, there is a very nice terrace that Isabel often uses to welcome guests to drink tea. From the living room the entire terrace can be overlooked. Most especially in the house is an old fireplace but very pretty Dutch style. All of them exude a warm and romantic look.
